Founded in 1990, BIT Studios is a Chicago web design and development agency with a long successful history with larger projects. Our skills also include user experience (UX) design, project management and Internet marketing.
In the early days, our focus was purely on custom software development. In time we recognized the demand for a full service agency that could provide our clients with everything they need to generate bankable results. So we began offering a comprehensive suite of services: web design, web development, SEO, PPC management, email marketing and web analytics.
In 2005, BIT Studios became one of the first companies to adopt UX/User Experience design as its main approach to projects. UX allows our professionals to quickly prototype, test and improve new websites before they’re built out, saving time and money.
In 2006, we were early adopters of conversion optimization, using the concept to expand our own business and those of our clients.
Our clients include: Toshiba, Trinity Health, Saint Mary’s Health Care, Advantage Health, Northshore University Health System, Plato Learning, Hewlett Packard, Stanley Steemer, National Heritage Academy, Vance Publishing, Verisign, Alltel, Pfizer and more.
Jeff Thompson started his career in IT while living in Saint Petersburg, Russia in 1999. He has managed projects and teams across multiple continents.
