QA Engineer
Remote Middle, Senior QA
About This Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer with 5+ years of experience for a Full-Time Remote position to join our team in delivering high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong manual testing skills and experience with Playwright for test automation.
Requirements:
- Strong manual testing background with proven experience in web and mobile application testing
- Experience writing clear and detailed bug reports
- Ability to create comprehensive test cases based on project requirements
- Cross-browser and cross-device testing experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in reproducing complex issues
- Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience using test management tools (e.g., Reqtest)
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and QA methodologies
- Experience utilizing AI tools like ChatGPT for testing efficiency and automation
- Experience with Jira for task and bug tracking
- 5+ years of software testing experience
Technical Skills:
- Experience with Playwright test automation framework (strongly preferred)
- Understanding of REST architecture and API testing using tools like Postman
- Experience with test documentation and test suite maintenance
Responsibilities:
- Execute manual testing of web-based and mobile applications
- Create and maintain detailed test cases and test documentation
- Perform thorough regression testing and cross-browser/device compatibility testing
- Report and track bugs using bug tracking systems
- Participate in project meetings and collaborate with development teams
- Review and validate software requirements
- Maintain and execute test suites in Reqtest
- Identify areas for improvement in the testing process
- Leverage AI tools to enhance testing efficiency and coverage
- Manage testing tasks and bug tracking using Jira
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in software testing
- Proven track record of identifying and documenting software defects
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
