How to add location to Resource Locator module

  1. Login to SSM and go to the Resource Locator module
  2. Click ‘new’ button to add new location



  3. Enter the Location name to ‘Name’ field
  4. Choose the Location type from ‘Type’ drop down
  5. Enter the location address to the address field according the example: 17 North Loomis, Chicago, IL 60607 or 17 North Loomis, Chicago.
  6. Click ‘Get Location’ button. Location will appear on the map. Coordinates, Zip, City and State fields will be filled automatically.



  7. To correct flag position on the map use latitude and longitude values.



  8. Name, Address, Long description and Map comments information is show on site. Coordinates, Zip, City and State fields are system fields. If State field was not filled automatically enter the correct state manually to make it shown on the state map and in the locator state drop down.



  9. Click Ok button
