HOW CAN I PLACE IMAGES TO THE SIDE OF THE TEXT SO THAT IT DOES NOT WRAP UP?

The best way to insert an image left or right to a text is to create two-column table with invisible borders and than insert a text to one column and an image to another. This table will be visible in the visual editor only. Also it is possible to use all text editing options that you need within a table cell containing this text.

1. First, you need to create a table, to do it, click 'Table' icon located on the tool bar of the visual editor.

   

2. To tweak the view of your table and make its borders invisible, set the following parameters in the popped up window with table properties:

   

   Rows: 1
   Columns: 2
   Width: 100 percent
   Border size: 0
   Cell spacing: 0
   Cell padding: 5 (Cell padding puts some space between the border of the cell and the text) Leave the ‘Height’ parameter empty.

3. Click 'OK' button. Table will appear in the visual editor’s area.

   

   Please note that if you click on the table's border and drag it to scale the table, it will change table's "Width" and "Height" parameters from "100 percent" and "indefinite" to some values in pixels. In this case the table will be fixed in size. And after page publishing table won't be able to scale when you change the browser's window size. Also it is possible that the table wouldn't fit in the page template. You can always check the table properties in the popped up menu (click right mouse button within a table cell to pop up the table properties menu).

4. Click left mouse button within a proper cell to make it active. Now you can insert your text here. To copy text from text editor (e.g. Microsoft Word) use ‘Paste from Word’ option. Make sure the "Remove Styles Definitions" check box is marked.

   

   You may edit your text using any visual editor’s text options that you need.

   

5. Click right mouse button within another cell to pop up the table properties menu. Choose Cell Properties menu item.

   

   Set the cell ‘Width’ parameter equal to your image width in the popped up window with cell properties. Leave ‘Height’ parameter empty.

   

6. To insert image here, click ‘Insert Image’ icon located on the tool bar of the visual editor.

   

7. Choose your image. To specify image position according to table cell borders, set the appropriate align value in the image properties window. Image original size will be set automatically. Set image width and height if you need to decrease or increase image.

   

8. Click 'OK' button
