HOW TO INSERT FLASH MOVIE USING VISUAL EDITOR

To insert flash movie:

1. Open SSM file management and upload flash movie files.

   

   If movie consists of .flv file and .swf file, upload both of them. Add alias to .flv file: /filename.flv, where filename is the name of .flv file.

   

2. Switch to SSM Content Management. Add content block for the flash movie.

   

3. Click ‘Insert Flash’ icon. Flash properties window appears.

   

4. Click ‘Browse server’ to browse for the flash movie.

   

5. When the Resource browser window opens, click plus icon left to “My files” directory. Select uploaded .swf file from the list.

   

6. Set the dimensions of your flash movie by entering “Width” and “Height” parameters in pixels.

   

7. Switch to Advanced tab. There you can turn on or turn off the following parameters:
   Auto Play – if checked, movie starts to play automatically after the page loading.
   Loop – if checked, movie plays in nonstop mode.
   Enable Flash Menu – if checked, Flash menu is available for site visitors by right mouse button.

   

8. Click Ok button

   

9. Flash movie will be replaced by image in the Visual editor. To look at the result click OK button.
