The system is implemented with Oracle8 and Oracle Forms. FLORA*iHIS now solves multiple tasks of Hospital activities automation,and includes the following modules.
- Checking in the patients.
- Hospital inventory tracking:
- Rshowing availability of beds etc.
- Keeping records of wards with data on:
- Beds distribution over wards,
- List of patients,
- Staff planning,
- Keeping records of patients' condition and therapies,
- Patient therapy planning.
- Medical records.
- Pharmaceutics, including modules:
- Ordering medicines,
- Medicines warehouse,
- Patients/Medication Profiles.
- Laboratory section is currently under development.
- Diagnostic imaging unit is also still under development.It will be compatible with the DICOM standard (Digital Imaging and Communication in Medicine).
- Surgery data module, including:
- Surgery planner,
- Staff planner,
- Equipment tracking,
- Pre-surgery and post-surgery diagrams.
- Therapy module.
- Patients database, including:
- "Info inquiry desk",
- Patient nutritional consultancy.
- Out-patient therapy unit, including:
- Reception hours planner covering,
- Calendar, prescription dates, procedures, treatment etc,

- SOAP (Subject -Object -Assessment -Planning)Module.
- Reference Directory of Medical Codes.
