HOW TO SET UP AN E-MAIL ACCOUNT IN MICROSOFT OUTLOOK 2007

 

1. In Microsoft Outlook, select Tools > Account Setting....

 

2. On the E-mail Accounts wizard window, select "New".

 

 

3. Select option "Manually configure server settings or additional server types" and click "Next"

 

 

4. Select option "Internet E-mail", then click "Next"

 

 

5. On the Internet E-mail Settings  window, enter your information as follows:.

 

 

• Your Name: Enter your first and last name.
• E-mail Address: Enter your e-mail address.
• User Name: Enter your e-mail address, again.
• Password: Enter the password you set up for your e-mail account.
• Incoming mail server (POP3): The name of the incoming e-mail server: mail.mylawfirmseo.com
• Outgoing mail server (SMTP): The name of the outgoing e-mail server: mail.mylawfirmseo.com

Please change "mylawfirmseo" above to the name of your domain, without any spaces, so that it looks the same way as you type it in the browser when go to your WWW.

E.g. if you type www.bitdesignstudio.com then the name of the domain is bitdesignstudio and the name of mail server is mail.bitdesignstudio.com 

 

6. Click "More Settings."

 

7. On the Internet E-mail Settings window, select the "Outgoing Server" tab.

 

8. Select "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication." and "Use same settings as my incoming mail server".
9. Select the "Advanced" tab, and then select "Leave a copy of messages on server".

10. Click OK
11. Click Next
12. Click Finish.
