1. Overview

 

There are 2 types of content blocks, which LWA can edit: 

  • Top Menu
  • Text HTML

When LWA logins, he / she sees green / red icons around the page for those blocks which are available for editing:

 

 

 

2. Editing Top Menu

 

Click on green / red icon for top menu to open Edit Settings popup. 

 

 

This opens popup with top menu settings. Here LWA can add / edit / remove menu items. Menu items are built manually and should link to Sitemap items (refer to the sections below).

  1. Add menu item – click on some node where you want to add new sub item, open Page dropdown and select sitemap item (website page) to link menu item to, enter menu item name in Name text box, click Add
  2. Edit menu item – mouse over on some node and click Edit link appeared, open Page dropdown and select another sitemap item (website page) to link menu item to, change menu item name in Name text box, click Update.
  3. Delete menu item – mouse over on some node and click Delete link appeared
  4. When done – click OK to close popup

 

 

3. Editing Text HTML

 

Click on green / red icon for top menu to open Edit Settings popup.

 

 

Here LWA can edit static HTML content, change graphics, upload videos, etc.

 

 

 

  1. To upload / edit / delete / embed images into content, open Image Manager (icon in toolbar)

  1. To upload / edit / delete / embed documents into content, open Document Manager (icon in toolbar)

  1. To upload / edit / delete / embed audio / video media into content, open Media Manager (icon in toolbar)

 

4. Publishing Page Changes

When edited top menu or text html blocks, these changes do not apply right away. The page where changes were done becomes unpublished and is shown with red exclamation mark in Control Panel / Sitemap.

 

 

Edited content block changes its green icon to red one – this means that content block contains unpublished changes.

 

 

To publish changes for website visitors, select unpublished page and click Publish Page Changes in Sitemap toolbar:
